Its been a great Thanksgiving thus far! Getting the house cleaned and cleared, getting my appetite worked up for the giant feast to be had in a few hours, as SIL's newly purchased home.

Of course there was a little drama in the area of toxic Troll BM. She is having a tough time proving her income for the new apartment. Egads, of course she is. Shes not working and is living off her workmans comp settlement.

OK, so I know its not ideal, but for now I am a bit happy at the current resolution. Munchkin SD13 called her mother, Toxic Troll, last night and she was told that Feral Forger SD20 would again be living with them in the new apartment.

Which caused her to cry a bunch. I tried bolstering her, but eventually she told me "please dont try to comfort me right now", and I just backed right off immediately and told her I would be there for her if she needs me. She said "ok", as if surprised. Pleasantly surprised.

Because mommy dearest Toxic Troll is moving within a few weeks. Luckily its an apartment that is close by, but just a little further away.

FEral Forger actually, during drop off of Munchkin SD13, was there and said hello, and gave her dad a hug. Then TT said "she is looking for a new place", and Feral Forger has the nerve to ask daddy dearest "can I move to your place?"

Yeah, over my dead body will that be occurring.

We signed the closing documents to our house and the deed has been transfered!

What a process! We are very happy, as its been a long and tough road. Through everything my parents have been wonderful, although difficult on schedules. A notary came to our house and luckily munchkin SD13 was at a birthday party, and we could thrash out our nervous energy cleaning.
