So last night, DH and I are just finishing dinner, and his cell rings. He answers, starts answering questions cryptically (he was using military lingo) and then he kept trying to get off of the phone... so I KNEW who it was.

I asked him, what did she want? and why the code talk? he said she was calling about the skids, and then asked a question about what letters mean in the military... like C is Charlie.

So we had the skids again this weekend. no big. I wasnt feeling great, and ended up relaxing and watching a lot of tv.. DH takes the skids home... he left at 5pm, he didnt get back until 830pm. He told me he was picking up dinner on the way home. It normally takes 2 - 2.5 hrs for the drop offs/pick ups.. none of which she helps with. He left an hour late, which then put him into the construction traffic that starts after 7pm. Sooooo he calls me up..

I remember awhile back researching the information on whether or not my dh needed to provide bedrooms for each of his two children in our home. (this came about during another pregnancy that was not viable).. I have had some ask me for this document, and just found it while cleaning out my files.

So.. we had the skids this weekend. A couple we know stopped by, and started chatting w/the skids yesterday. They asked if the skids were all set for school w/their supplies and clothes.. (we never thought of asking.. not sure why!?!) and sd9 says, no.. We have to wait til everything goes on sale. The only things on sale right now are tank tops.

Ok.. our friends looked horrified, I was embarassed.. Not sure dh heard it. So SD9 goes on... about saving money and how much things costs... yadda yadda yadda..
