Life's a beach! Update on living situation

We are finally out of rental shack at MIL's place! A childhood friend of mine has a beach apartment and because of his economic situation he's been trying to rent it. His parents and brother also have apartments here. Anyway, after a couple of weeks staying at another friend's boat marina apt, we were able to have some time to add up all that living at mil's place was costing us. We were paying more there than at this apartment and kiddo has a beach, pool, playgrounds, etc...plus lots of kids to play with, especially on weekends.

If you PAY child support in Texas, MAKE SURE YOU calculate the CS yourself!!! The Texas AG tables are WRONG!

I just spent a few hours looking up the Tax tables for Texas, etc...to calculate child support...these tables are wrong! I won't say they are wrong by much, but at least in our case the difference in CS is about 200USD a year, which you know, pays for 5 speech therapies for my son! ARGH#@$#@%#$

OT-average health insurance cost family

I am wondering how much most people pay for medical insurance. We are paying close to 6K per year and that is having insurance through DHs work, which is a MAJOR corporation...been around over 30+ years, very well known...

Is this just outrageous? Our cost went up more than 30% from last year...

This is for employee+spouse+2

OT-anyone in the Irving, Grand Prairie, Arlington -TX area? about recent traffic accident or other family death?

I have a really bad feeling right now...if anyone is in these areas, please let me know if you have heard of a bad traffic accident or something which possibly killed a few family members...

Saw that DHs daughter put "missing baby, plz come back...crying". Hmmm...great...BM has "sometimes we lose someone we love, but you must go on for those left"

I have a feeling she's been dumped...lovely...seems the nightmare gets
better every day...now there's a 15yr old in 8th grade, who has now failed 8th grade due to attendance and not doing work, who is preggo w/no baby daddy in sight? Oh BM, you did a good one...

OT-no bad wishes plz...I already have enough...plz plz pray I get a house

Ah, sorry, I am worn out of living in this mess with the in-laws...been kind of looking for houses, but with the child support mess that crazy witch caused us last time, we just can't take a risk on buying a house we can "afford" and then crazy witch coming back with more drama and child support...also, because of where we live, if we spend too much on a house, and something happens to DH, I would end up on the street because I would be forced to give his kid part of the cost of the house or sell the house if I couldn't afford to give her "her part"...sigh...

Today I find out that my DH's mother NEVER gave him an Easter bunny, egg, or anything else BUT she always has given her daughter from het second marriage at least a chocolate Easter bunny? So the 3 kids from your first marriage never got anything from you even though they lived with you their entire childhood but the kid you had w/your second husband did? And you dare judge me about ME not giving more to his daughter when I had bday parties for her, bought her clothes, Christmas presents, Valentine's day, Halloween & Easter little gifts? You are one pathetic mother!
