Shocked and rising anxiety
Dh had given ss a good telling off the other weekend, detailed in my last post. Ss was fine, came to a peaceful conclusion, so we thought.

Dh actually stepped in
After last week's sagas I knew things would only get worse, yes bm certainly upped her game. We were due to have ss 10am Saturday. 9.50 we get a text saying hell be very late due to a sleep over. When he finally lands past 12 he happily announces bm let him/friend stay up until 2am. Wtf. Oh and boy does it show. Acting like a drunken clown he's so tired.

Dreading going back
Having a lovely break away just me and dd5, realised I haven't missed home at all. Did the dutiful video calls home, forgot ss would be there twice, and as soon as hubby put ss on to speak to her I felt sick and left them to their conversation. Going home today and the sense of dread has woken me at 5am.

6pm comes and ss and hubby are happily making banners for dd... Ss announces that he has messaged bm and she is on her way across 2 towns to bring his teddies?! Like wtf why?! He's nearly 11 in Nov.!!! I don't want bm landing here with teddies, is ss that insensitive I don't think so ####off!!!!!

I don't care!!!
Just saw red today and haven't for a long time.
Back story is- my dd 4 and I bumped into her classmate in a store recently, and the girl reluctantly said hello like dd was crap. Then this little specimen and her mother bumped into my dd with our childminder in a park this week and neave, yea I'll call her by her real name, was so horrible too dd and Co, that my childminder called her mother out to get off her bench stop sucking on her vape and sort her clan.

I don't think so!
Hubby has decided that nows the time to 'ask' to reinstate the 2 x week night sleepovers.. Which makes perfect sense considering he's working even longer hours to pull back from covid AND the grandparent has just completed on buying his former home, the one that's even further away, when she's the one there for handover. Add to that I've just started a new job, we are all quite stressed atm. It's truly not my circus if that's what he wants to do.. Yet this morning he asks can I write the email to ex, and do I think that I will be able to do any of the lifts /handovers? 'what?!?

Sometimes I pity everyone concerned, on good day
Ss parents broke up when ss was a year younger than (our) daughter 4.
Wow my lil critter tries to give us the run around. She's been pushing boundaries all day to me, and sulked as I won't let her crack on. Now daddy is trying to put her to bed she wants to say mummy I love u, cuddles x5. Nope, get to bed bye. Do as daddy says or else.

I should be glad really, but I have my late mother in my head!
Covid 19, awful times, I hope everyone is bearing up as best as can be?
Venting frustration
I guess as a kindly rounded view there is nobody to blame, and people, particularly long suffering grandparents are entitled to live their life.. But, it always ends up affecting us!!
Back story, dh walked away from family home he'd worked his backside on, with just his clothes leaving her everything and taking a rubbish settlement. Because he didn't want his 3 Yr old son to suffer, eye roll, bm did that by asking him to leave as she thought she cld do better.

How many confirmations are needed?!
I am honestly wondering if its me being sensitive or as I suspect, bm doing her usual controlling and deliberately rearing her ugly head.
Only a few weeks ago we said that, as we are abroad (3 days returned yesterday then straight to a concert last night for my bday ) so shall we make up the time with ss. Bm jumped at chance and said yes this Sunday to weds (so she can go away with bf) cool, whatever. This is all by email for this exact kinda reason. But ss also messaged from his phone Thurs 'see you on sunday' etc.
