We drove almost 30 minutes to meet BM, who just walked right across the street from her boyfriend's place. (I'm sure BM thinks she's sooo clever for "tricking" us into this arrangement. She spends most of her time at her boyfriend's place, which is sort of the half way mark between where she now lives & where my husband works. So on weekends, we have to drive an extra 15 minutes because it's from our house, not where he works & she doesn't have to drive at all because she's already there. My husband is so dumb for agreeing to this, but he didn't want to fight over it.

First & foremost, it was NOT a very fun weekend. It started with my husband, his father & stepmother, and I going to pick-up SD9. (Remember, this is after BM has had SD9 for an entire month!) We met at the place BM requested, which was right across from her boyfriend's place. (I wanted to kick my husband for agreeing to this, but oh well.) So we get there & park. I see BM's car coming within 5 minutes. One thing though...she was coming from the opposite direction that she should have come from.

To combat my other blog about my woes, here's something that might make you laugh...

BM sent my husband an email yesterday to confirm the pick-up times on Friday & Sunday (this was in response to his email). She agreed to the times, but not the place. (A school that is about half way between her house & ours, where we had done the exchange before.)

So my husband's father & stepmother came up yesterday. They're here for at least a week. They have a huge motor home (or whatever they're called) & are staying at a camp ground a few minutes from our house. I really like them both, so that's not the issue. The issue is that every year they come up & we have no plans on what we're doing while they're here. It's really awkward.
