Halloween...yay

Toastergirl's picture

She never takes off her costume and she never fails to be evil. I wonder what it's like to be an evil witch 365 days of the year? Hmmmmm.

Hex does not take SD trick or treating. She buys her a costume every year for school but does not take her ToT. She has told SD that there are not many kids in the neighborhood so there's no reason to take her. She COULD take SD to the neighborhood a couple blocks away near the elementary school or use her moms neighborhood, but that's a moot point. Hex does not take SD trick or treating.

I hope my daughter never becomes a stepmother

Toastergirl's picture

I hate this life and the choice I made to become one.
I realize now my daughter will grow up having it shoved in her face that SD gets more clothes, toys, vacations at her moms then i will ever be able to give her.
I hope my daughter never marries a man who is on the hook for a grand a month in CS.
I made my choice and I hope DD never makes the same.

DD and SD sharing a room

Toastergirl's picture

Does anyone here have their bios share a room with their step? Since SD is not here frequently, it only makes sense our daughter have a room. She has been sleeping in her crib in the corner of our bedroom or in her playpen in the living room. SD will turn 10 soon and DD is 1.

Talked to SD about her assignment

Toastergirl's picture

She had no idea what assignment I was talking about.
Looked at me with her huge saucer eyes, "I honestly don't know what you are talking about Toaster."
So I read it to her, since I took a picture of it yesterday.
She then said, "oh...that.
"Yes...why did you say you had no siblings?"
"...I don't know."
"You don't know why you wrote it? You wrote it!"
"I honestly don't know."

It's like a brick wall. The brick wall of denial

Parent/teacher conference

There is absolutely no better way to celebrate your birthday than hearing your 9yr old stepdaughter is having behavior issues. Which isn't a surprise present. It's kind of like knowing all year your great aunt is going to crochet/knit a purple turtleneck and you will have to put it on at your party to appease all the family. You know it's coming. And you know it could always be worse, but you're always hoping she will forget to knit the damn turtleneck. But she doesn't. It's that warm feeling.

Hex wants to get SD a new counselor

Toastergirl's picture

The never ending story, chapter 100 page 99. This convo just took place while SD and I were playing a computer game together:

Me: so how are things going?
SD: well...not good.
Me: why?
SD: my mom wants to get me a new counselor.
Me: why??? I thought she was nice
SD: well she is and she's helped me but my mom says she's trying to change me.
Me: oh......
SD: yeah so she's looking into getting me a new one. I've stopped biting you know. So there's really no need to see her.
Me: uh huh.

Hex lying under oath

Toastergirl's picture

Has anybody here experienced their hex lying on the stand during trial? Blatantly lying? When it comes to our word versus hers in testifying, whose will they believe? Can the GAL testify last so if he was able to glean answers from SD, it will be obvious hex was lying under oath?

It's become obvious she is going to deny everything, I'm just wondering how that works. If we can prove concretely she is lying, can she face charges?
