Just wondering what YOUR parents feelings/opinions etc about your skids are. My parents had serious (but valid) concerns about me getting involved with someone with two kids and the drama that would follow. Even after DH and I got married and had BD 10 months, my parents remained polite but distant with the skids. My parents have clearly stated that these are not their grandkids (as opposed to BD who they dote on).

As you all know, the past few days, I'v had alot going on, and now there is a much welcomed lull. First off, my mom did well in court (thanks to everyone for your support, kind words and insight), I know I have blogged this one to death, but I was glad that my mom held herself together while having to be in a court room with my father. My mom's lawyer, however, is turning out to be quite the "bull dog", as she says. He had so much evidence, that it was enough for the judge to bring this to trial.

I don't know if this is a sign or what.

I bought a trac fone to call an attorney today; while I was on hold, waiting for him to pick up, my cell phone rang-it was my dad. So I new something happened-my parents never call....I live right next door, so I see them every few days.

My poor stroke victim Dad was on the phone-Bewitched, come over.
It's sometimes hard for him to talk, so I ran over without questions-and found my mom on the floor.

Hi All, I have been lurkiing for over a year now. I used all of your experiences and wisdom to get out of a bad situation. You all made me realize that my feelings were normal and I didn't need to take it anymore. Thank you for that.
