When you have a GREAT marriage, you provide an overall stable home... consequently the kids will benefit from that.
When you focus on the children, in no WAY the marriage benefits from that...
SS6 does NOT listen to my BD13 when she babysits..she will tell him to stop doing something and he flat out looks at her and says "no"..FH has yelled at SS over this many times. BD is watching SS two days a week for extra $$ in the summer and SS HAS to start listening to her.
So last night I had an appt. and BD watched SS for about two hours..and it happened..he also walked by her and smacked her butt! LOL!
I have been reading Rag's blog about hygeine and his 17 yr old SS-DH and I have the same issue with Zippy 16.5. Zippy has severe acne (genetic) and has meds and special soaps for his face and a Dr.'s regime (see skin blog for details) that for reason's unknown to me -Zippy fails to comply an DH see's "no big deal"-Zippy now has a break out with acne the size of golf balls on his face whereby people are pointing and staring (I kid you not!).
What are some of you doing for Father's Day for you're SO? Im trying to plan something for my hubby but have no idea what!!! Any ideas???
So last night FH's best friend came over..he is older than FH (about my age) and more mature in dealing with women. He had a very messy divorce and regrets things he did and didn't do for his wife.
He came to work yesterday on a cloud. He said that he was the only person at the courthouse walking around with a smile on his face. He has four children. Two from his first marriage (21 and 18) and two with his current Wife.
He came to my office and just sat there with a big ol grin on his face, turned to me and said. "17 years $130,000 and I just got a $600/mo raise". "My XW is going to freak out. I am not calling to tell her, the CSE will send her a letter".
I am a single mother in a relationship with a man with 2 kids (SD17 & SS13). I have 2 kids but only my BD10 lives with us. My son is 19 and lives with his father quite far away. Anyway, my SD17 is driving me mad! She is so selfish. She has been living with us since Jan 2009 with the understanding that she will finish school (18 mo still to go.) But she is heavily involved with a guy who lives 100 km's away from us and all she wants to do is get there to him at any opportunity she gets (or doesn't get).
I recently saw an e-mail my SD (11) sent to my DH saying how she really doesn't like anything about me.
Then while she was chatting with DH she said that if DH and BM don't get together she can't/won't study;that everything was fine when mommy and daddy were together but since daddy has another woman (we've been married for 8 years/together for 10)everything turned
I really want to go to court due to the fact that in the last year BM has had two CPS reports out on her. One was her leaving SD (2 at the time) in her apartment alone this happened about a year ago. The second one was recently SD3 come home with a cigarette burn. The burn is pretty deep leading me to thinking bad things so we called CPS who told us to call the police. This incident is still being dealt with. Anyways, like I was saying I really want to go to court and money is not an issue, however, I was wondering how hard it is to get custody?
